Lundair Freeze AB Submits MDR Class IIa Technical Documentation for Advanced Blood Plasma Shock Freezer

Lundair Freeze AB, a Swedish medical technology company specializing in air-based shock-freezing systems for blood plasma, today announced that it has submitted its MDR Class IIa technical documentation to its Notified Body (NB) as part of the European conformity assessment process for its LUNDAIR® Blood Plasma Shock Freezer LF-24.
The submission represents an important milestone in Lundair’s continued development and international growth strategy within transfusion medicine and blood plasma handling solutions. LUNDAIR® Blood Plasma Shock Freezer LF-24 is designed to provide rapid and uniform freezing of blood plasma using advanced air-based distribution technology. The system is developed to support blood banks and healthcare providers seeking reliable, energy-efficient, and environmentally responsible blood plasma freezing solutions aligned with evolving regulatory and sustainability requirements.
By combining high-performance freezing technology with natural refrigerants and energy-efficient engineering, Lundair aims to support improved operational efficiency while helping healthcare providers reduce environmental impact.
